school shmool.

Wow, this is going to be a quick blog, for I have to exchange a book, go to the cashier's office to redeem my SOB loan, go to do a Goodwill drop off (minimalizing is good, right?), pick up new glasses that were a big 50 percent off at the closing Shopko store here, go on a bike ride, call me daddy to wish him a happy birthday, study for tomorrows quiz, then drop in to bed-hopefully alive. Oh, my gosh! I must go now that I have completely overwhelmed myself!!!! I am doing well, breathing, and smiling...and that is what counts. It is amazing how well a person can function off of six hours of sleep when she is busy! I'll write more when time allows...

Refresh..Renew...Rejuvinate?

So what have I done this wonderful, nonstructured Summer O' Mine that I was too busy to blog (this new look is supposed to inspire me!)???Well, Pat and I went camping and hiking a few times. We gathered friends a few weeks ago, and spontaneously summitted a mountain named Rosalie. We looked at her and thought 'it didn't look too bad', and after one and a half hours of pretty intense "stair stepping" we were to the top! The trip up and back was about 7 hours long. Lately, I have been mountain biking on crazy trails, (yes, Mom-with a helmet) instead of climbing due to injury to my wrists. It was great helping Diane paint the outside of her house, the inside my vacation home (house with Bran and Nicki) with my dad, and I am dabbling in the interior to Hannah's house. I have become quite the trimmer, a talent I thought I would never aquire!
I am back living with Hannah, and taking care of her. Last weekend Danielle, my new roomie, Hannah, and I went to a Folk Festival in Lyons , a charming town in the foothills, and drank gin and tonics. Oh my gosh, it was an amazing time! The dreamy venue had a red cliff of stone surrounding it, with a river running the edge. Children we hoola-hooping, twirling in circles, and creating paper funky pagoda hats. Meanwhile, parents were able to relax and enjoy the music. I have never seen so many old hippies that force their children to wear tie-dye...cute or cruel?
Well, I hope to be back in the loop, and promise to do my best with updates. I still have lots to share, for my life has come full circle and is wonderfully busy! I hope all is well with everyone. Maybe I can figure out how to get pics on here for you!
Have a good day.
