like a bee..

Hey Everyone,
This time the blogging mother blogger better work. I have made two different post's from two different computers, and both had errors when I tried to post...lost in cyberspace, in otherwords. Well, I am doing ok with school and Hannah, unless you are Pat and know the truth of a little, ok a real breakdown last week. No sleep, a ton and a half on anxiety, a test in two days...too much to do too little time (and too much procrastination!!). Anyway, my brain is cleared of the cobwebs, information is absorbing, and life at 308 Smith Street is harmonious.
Thank God for Hannah, for she keeps me socialized, relaxed, and smiling. We went to a Rockies game, as you see above. Here are more pictures of the Lyons Folk Festival that we went to about a month ago. I think that I blogged about the festival in the past, well here are some great visuals! Yeah for pictures...it is about time, huh.

Rockies game with the girls...

This weekend, Niki, Hannah, Danielle, and I went to the Rockies game...they lost to the Giants, but we had a great time!
Our seats were just a few sections away from Pat's season ticket seats. What are the chances?

Chang Chang Changity Chang She-bop!

Hey everybody!
I hope you all are having a wonderul weekend. I have had a day of study, hair cut (shorter!), run, study, oh yeah, eat, eat....I have a test Monday over the endocrine, and circulatory systems. details, details. I am not working, and ended up staying in the Fort, which is nice to be home and not too busy!
Last week, Hannah and I called all of our friends to invite them to a bar for keraoke last night. We had a great time drinking mango margs, and singing. Niki and her girlfriends talked me into singing "We Go Together" from Grease with them. I kept batting the microphone away, then waved up a group of fresh twenty-one wastoid girls up on stage, specifically to drown my sorry voice out. We had a great time. Hannah was the best psuedo microphone holder at the table! I gave her a straw to hold on to, and I would wave it in front of the appropriate mouth to sing songs.
Oh yeah, last week I wrote out the funniest post to tell you all about my bike incident, or should I say accident, but when I checked it was not on my blog....cyber blog land, perhaps! I can't even come close to recomposing the story, so you'll have to call and ask me about it. I will admit to having a nice pink scar on my forearm, about two inces, by three and a half inches...

You can't aLWays make a DifFerence in thE woRLD!

Hey Ya'll.
I hope you are having a wonderful week, despite the craziness going on in the US. I was excited to clear out some more of my closet when I found out that a postal chain in town is taking boxes of unopened food, personal hygeine items, etc., and boxes of clothing on donation. They have a hub in Baton Rouge that they are directly sending items, on them!! We have sent about six boxes of clothing and food, and Diane has sent three boxes of Cooleroo's. There are so many sweaty, hurt people sitting in wheelchairs WAITING to be relieved.
I have sucessfully not driven my truck for ten days, now that the gas prices have worn a hole in my purse. My insurance expired, and so I decided the hell with it. Let me tell you that this world is set up where you NEED a car at some point. For instance, when it is two o'clock in the afternoon when you get off of work, and class starts in fifteen minutes. The school happens to be located about ten miles in the opposite corner of the town...yikes (thanks Hannah for the van usage!). The second instance today that a vehicle morphed into a luxury, is when I decided to go study after dark at the coffee shop. So I set my bootie on the bike seat as usual when-woops, flat tire-when did you get there??? I felt soooo proactive about my "personal gasoline ban" until today! Now, as it is getting harder and harder for Pat and I to see each other, insurance is looking like a really smart chunk of money.
I have a great bike riding story...just to keep you on the edge of your seat! Maybe I could get a picture up here as well...
