You can't aLWays make a DifFerence in thE woRLD!
Hey Ya'll.
I hope you are having a wonderful week, despite the craziness going on in the US. I was excited to clear out some more of my closet when I found out that a postal chain in town is taking boxes of unopened food, personal hygeine items, etc., and boxes of clothing on donation. They have a hub in Baton Rouge that they are directly sending items, on them!! We have sent about six boxes of clothing and food, and Diane has sent three boxes of Cooleroo's. There are so many sweaty, hurt people sitting in wheelchairs WAITING to be relieved.
I have sucessfully not driven my truck for ten days, now that the gas prices have worn a hole in my purse. My insurance expired, and so I decided the hell with it. Let me tell you that this world is set up where you NEED a car at some point. For instance, when it is two o'clock in the afternoon when you get off of work, and class starts in fifteen minutes. The school happens to be located about ten miles in the opposite corner of the town...yikes (thanks Hannah for the van usage!). The second instance today that a vehicle morphed into a luxury, is when I decided to go study after dark at the coffee shop. So I set my bootie on the bike seat as usual when-woops, flat tire-when did you get there??? I felt soooo proactive about my "personal gasoline ban" until today! Now, as it is getting harder and harder for Pat and I to see each other, insurance is looking like a really smart chunk of money.
I have a great bike riding story...just to keep you on the edge of your seat! Maybe I could get a picture up here as well...

Damn the gas prices!
I just filled up 1/2 a tank today and wanted to cry. I seriously whined at the gas pump when I saw how high my dollar amount was going. Out loud.
