Go Rockies!
Last Sunday the Rockies spanked the Padres and I was there to...uh, kinda watch it!! It is hard enough for me to stay engaged in a baseball game. Having almost all of my favorite Coloradoan's there with me made it nearly impossible!
Easter Seals recieves 50 free tickets about 4 times during the season. We only have 32 patients and most of them don't go. If the tickets aren't used, then we aren't going to get them in the future. Therefore, I offered tickets to Nicki, Tammy, Dolan, Hannah, and Pat. We had a great time in perfect baseball weather!

Baseball is apparently, "America's favorite past-time" and it is so boring to me. I can sort of get into it, but really don't understand it too much. The last time I went to a game I thought it was cool that my name was on the scoreboard. It said, "BOT 9". I asked my dad what that was all about and he laughed and shushed me, a little embarrassed at my apparent cluelessness! "Bottom of the ninth", he whispered.

THAT is hilarious...last year Pat and I went to five or six games. The eighth inning of the 3rd or 4th game I had to finally ask Pat how to read the score! I thought he was going to kill me. This last game we went to I socialized away with Tammy, Hannah, and other people from Easter Seals. I usually people watch and clap when those around me clap!!!

Yeah, it's hard to get into something you don't know a thing about. I cheer when the hot dog man comes around! It's the only time I can eat a hot dog, other than camping, and not feel yucky.
