This weekend I headed North to visit the wonderful Fort Collins. My weekend included sushi, margs, yoga, coffee, hiking, and visits with many friends. It was a packed and busy one, but far worth the energy spent.
On Sunday, Staci, Ben and I drove up north to Red Feather Lakes to find some snowshoe action. We didn't find enough snow to warrant putting on our snowshoes, but we did experience the coolest Colorado wildlife encounter I have had thus far in my six years of living out here!

Oh my goodness! He looks like he's waiting to pounce.
I saw the subject line of your blog post, and got all excited thinking maybe you rescued a homeless cat.

Don't worry all- we were in the car and safe. I didn't walk up to the kitty and pet him:). I should have brought him home to keep me company!
